Malachite Green Optical Sensor Based on Electrospun Polyimide Nanofiber

چکیده
Malachite green (MG) is a triphenylmethane cationic dye used in aquaculture practice, although it has been banned several countries. The illegal use by fish producers, however, persists due to its effectiveness, and ready cheap supply. To prevent indiscriminate applications, strict control measures with simple analytical approaches are therefore necessary. With this purpose, novel, method applying electrospun polyimide nanofibers was developed validated for MG water color image analysis. For detection, apparatus ImageJ® software treat images captured common smartphones were used. A detection limit of 0.013 mg/L linear response range within the concentration 0.05 0.3 mg/ L malachite correlation coefficient 0.997 standard deviation (n = 9) varying from 1.01 3.92% achieved proposed method. Accuracy assessed recovery assays samples percentages 96.6 102.0% obtained. robust suitable rapid reliable monitoring water.

Electrospun nanofiber-based drug delivery systems
Electrospinning is a very simple and versatile process by which polymer nanofibers with diameters ranging from a few nanometers to several micrometers can be produced using an electrostatically driven jet of polymer solution or polymer melt. Significant progress has been made in this process throughout the past few years and electrospinning has advanced its applications in many fields, includin...
متن کاملLabel-free fluorescent aptamer sensor based on regulation of malachite green fluorescence.
We report a label-free fluorescent aptamer sensor for adenosine based on the regulation of malachite green (MG) fluorescence, with comparable sensitivity and selectivity to other labeled adenosine aptamer-based sensors. The sensor consists of free MG, an aptamer strand containing an adenosine aptamer next to an MG aptamer, and a bridging strand that partially hybridizes to the aptamer strand. S...
متن کاملOptical pH Sensor Based on Quinizarin for Alkaline pH Regions
The development of an optical pH sensor based on immobilization of quinizarin (1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone) on a triacetylcellulose membrane was described. The resulting membrane exhibited fast color change from yellow to violet, while changing the pH in alkaline region. The immobilized quinizarin showed a broader dynamic range from (pH 9.4-11.4) with respect to free form (pH 8.8-10.4). The sens...
متن کاملLysozyme-loaded, electrospun chitosan-based nanofiber mats for wound healing.
In this study, a blend mixture of chitosan-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (CS 2 wt%-EDTA) at a weight ratio of 30/70 and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution (10 wt%) was electrospun to produce fibrous mats with lysozyme (10, 20 and 30 wt%) used for wound healing. The morphology and diameter of the electrospun fiber mats with and without lysozyme were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM)...
